Asaf has been committed to helping clients achieve justice since before graduating from law school. As a Haywood Burns Memorial Fellow, he worked at a nonprofit law firm that represented inmates on Georgia’s death row. While awaiting admission to the New York Bar, he worked as a senior paralegal for the Monroe County Public Defender’s Office. After becoming licensed, Asaf became an attorney at a prestigious Manhattan law firm, where he handled all of the firm’s state criminal cases.
In 2013, Asaf opened The Law Office of Asaf J. Sarno (originally in NYC), which is now known as Sarno Legal, PLLC. For nearly a decade, Asaf has offered clients in Boston and the Greater Boston area high-quality legal representation along with the attentive personal service and support they deserve.
When not practicing law, Asaf can often be found cycling, hiking, enjoying hockey, reading, or playing chess. Most of all, he cherishes the time he gets to spend with his stunningly beautiful wife and their four incredible children.
Asaf and his family are also committed to raising money for cancer research and treatment for families who cannot afford it at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through the Pan-Mass Challenge Team he created in his daughter’s honor: Team Live Like Liv.
